Most of what we do in a bathroom is finished in a single day, because those systems are engineered for it. A kitchen is not that job, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Cabinetry gets built to your room’s measurements before a single box goes in, which takes the time it takes. What you get instead of speed is a schedule you are given up front and a crew that keeps to it.

The cabinets are the kitchen, and they are where most of the decision-making happens. Working through 1951 Cabinetry’s range means picking a door style, a species, and a finish that suit your house rather than settling for whatever a big-box showroom has in stock. A painted Linen shaker and a Cherry Amber raised panel produce completely different rooms out of the same floor plan.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Longer than our bathroom work, and we would rather say so plainly. Our bath installations are engineered as one-day projects; a full kitchen is not. Cabinetry is built to your measurements before installation begins, so the realistic timeline runs several weeks from the day you approve the design. You get a specific schedule at the consultation rather than a vague window.
Whose cabinets do you install?
We build with 1951 Cabinetry. Their range covers door styles including Bandera, Belcourt, Clayton, Durango, Oxridge, Abilene, and Lubbock, in maple, cherry, and Duraform textured finishes. Colors run from painted Linen, Mist, Sage, and Black through stained Maple Rye, Cherry Amber, and Maple Truffle, plus glazed options like Biscotti and Pewter.
Do I have to replace all the cabinets?
Not always. If the existing boxes are solid and the layout works, replacing doors and drawer fronts gets you a new-looking kitchen for less. If the layout is the actual problem, or the boxes are failing, full replacement is the honest answer. We will tell you which one your kitchen needs at the consultation.
Can you move walls, plumbing, or electrical?
Layout changes, relocated sinks, and new lighting or outlet runs are all part of what a full remodel can include. These affect both the schedule and the price, so we scope them at the consultation rather than discovering them halfway through.
What does a kitchen remodel cost?
Kitchens vary far more than bathrooms, because cabinetry count, countertop material, and whether the layout changes all move the number significantly. We quote your specific kitchen at the free in-home consultation, before anything is scheduled.
What Our Clients Say
We love our new step-in shower in the guest bath! Climbing in and out of a tub had become dangerous for most of our overnight guests, so we’re breathing sighs of relief. SAS provided great communication — and a lot of patience — throughout the decision-making and installation processes. Our installer, Collin, did the job in less than 9 hours. He was busy the entire time but gladly paused to answer our questions along the way. We are happy with the outcome and pleased that, as SAS promised, we paid significantly less than the estimates we got from companies that advertise constantly on TV. Paying almost double could not have given us a better shower than the one we got from SAS. (By the way, beware of estimates from companies that start with an outrageously high figure and offer you huge discounts only if you sign a contract “right now.” If they still make money at that lower price, why don’t they offer it to you in the first place?) If you’re planning a partial or total bathroom remodel, get multiple estimates. The lowest is likely to be from SAS. Don’t let that scare you! Their estimates are reasonable because they don’t charge a fortune to pay for advertising. They let satisfied customers spread the word! We have just had a meeting with SAS Home Solutions. Very friendly, answered all of our questions even helped us answer a few questions about things they are not remodeling for us. Prices are very reasonable, can’t wait to see the finished bathroom. Edit: They started our job and had a few mishaps with ordering, so we had to wait a little while for supplies to come in.
