The acrylic and PuroStone systems we install are non-porous. There is no grout for mildew to settle into and no tile to reseal every couple of years. Wiping the walls down is genuinely all the maintenance they need, which is a meaningful difference ten years into owning the bathroom.
Tyvarian, Not Just Acrylic
Nearly every one-day bath company offers the same wall material: acrylic. We fit acrylic too, and there is nothing wrong with it. But we also carry Tyvarian, a mineral-and-resin surface finished to look like marble or tile in over a hundred colors, which resists staining, scratching, and chipping. It is the sample people tend to stop on. If you are collecting quotes from several companies, it is worth asking each of them what the walls are actually made of.

Can a bathroom really be finished in one day?
For the work we specialize in, yes. Tub replacements, shower conversions, wall surrounds, and walk-in tub installations are all designed as one-day installations. Our crew arrives with everything needed, removes the old unit, installs the new one, and cleans up before leaving. Projects that involve moving plumbing or reconfiguring the room take longer, and we will tell you that up front at the consultation.
What are the wall surrounds made of?
Two tiers. Acrylic and PuroStone systems are what most one-day bath companies install, ourselves included, and they perform well, being non-porous so there is no grout for mildew to settle into. Above those we carry Tyvarian, which is not acrylic at all.
What is Tyvarian?
A stone-look shower surface made from a blend of natural minerals and resins, finished with a photo-transfer process that reproduces marble and tile patterns across more than a hundred colors. It resists staining, scratching, and chipping, and it reads as stone rather than plastic in a way acrylic does not. Most companies working in one-day bath remodeling offer acrylic only. Ask to see a Tyvarian sample at your free consultation, because the difference is much easier to feel than to describe.
What does a bathroom remodel cost?
Most bathroom projects fall between $10,000 and $25,000 depending on the size of the space, the system you choose, and the fixtures and finishes you select. Your quote is given at the free in-home consultation, before any work is scheduled.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Every installation carries a full transferrable lifetime warranty on both materials and labor. Transferrable means it carries over to the next owner if you sell the house.
How much mess will this make?
Very little. There is no multi-day demolition and no dust sheeting over your house for a week. The crew protects the work path, does the removal and installation in one visit, and leaves the bathroom clean and ready to use.

Their estimates are reasonable because they don’t charge a fortune to pay for advertising. They let satisfied customers spread the word!
